TallTeen ("we", "us", "our") operates the TallTeen mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We designed the App to be privacy-first: we collect only what we need to make the product work, and we never sell your data.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Onboarding data: age, sex, current height and weight, parents' heights, lifestyle answers.
• Account data: email address (if you create an account), authentication identifiers.
• Health logs: measurements, meals, sleep, workouts, and journal entries you record.
• Photos: meal photos you upload for nutrition analysis. Photos are processed and not retained beyond what's needed to return a result.
• Support correspondence: emails you send to support@tallteen.co.

Information collected automatically

• Device data: device model, OS version, app version, crash logs, anonymous usage events.
• Subscription status: active/expired status received from Apple's App Store.

2. How we use information

• To compute your personalized dashboard, predictions, and recommendations.
• To run the 112-day program, daily journal, and tracking features.
• To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
• To improve the App through aggregated, de-identified analytics.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. Children's privacy

The App is intended for teens aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@tallteen.co and we will delete it.

4. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:

• Service providers who host our infrastructure, send email, process payments via Apple, and run analytics — under contracts that limit them to processing data on our behalf.
• Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

5. Data retention

We retain your data while your account is active. When you request deletion, your personal data is erased from production systems within 7 days and from backups within 30 days. Some records may be retained where required by law.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact support@tallteen.co to exercise these rights.

7. Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and routine security review. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your data.

8. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use approved transfer mechanisms (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
